Through four weeks of the 2012 college football season, we've already seen some of the top preseason contenders fall from the top of the standings and the latest BCS championship betting odds. Most notably this includes the USC Trojans, who were the overall favorites in Week 1. The Oklahoma Sooners are another. But as it stands now, the Southeastern Conference is reigning supreme, and it shouldn't come as a big surprise with the conference on a six-year BCS championship title streak. The Alabama Crimson Tide lead the way, going off at 8/5 to win a second-straight national championship. SEC West rival LSU falls behind at 4/1, second overall. The Florida State Seminoles look like they are back, and sit at third on the list of favorites, going off at 6/1, along with the Oregon Ducks. Keeping with the SEC theme, the Georgia Bulldogs round out the top-five favorites, installed at 9/1.
