2012 Indiana Hoosiers Football Preview

The Indiana Hoosiers compete in the Leaders Division of the Big Ten conference. Indiana football can be traced back to 1887. Located in Bloomington, Indiana, The Hoosiers play at Memorial Stadium in Indiana, which can host a capacity crowd of 53,000 fans. The Hoosiers do not have a winning tradition like some of their Big Ten counterparts, capturing just two conference championships and reaching just nine postseason bowl games, for which they have a 3-6 record through 2011. The school has never produced a national championship, though if you are talking basketball that is definitely a different story.

2012 Indiana Hoosiers Outlook

When you win one game, expectations probably can't be much lower going into a new season. Indiana managed just a 1-11 record in 2011, and an 0-8 conference mark which leaves much to be desired. There isn't much more to say about Indiana other than a .500 record would be an accomplishment that rivals winning championships for other programs in the conference/division.
