2012 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football Preview

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets play in the Coastal division of the Atlantic Coast Conference, and are located in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia Tech football has been around since 1892, and since then, the hey have won four national championships and 16 conference titles. Prior to joining the ACC, Georgia Tech competed in the Southeastern Conference. The Yellow Jackets play in a stadium named after the iconic coach Bobby Dodd. Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field seats 55,000 and is located in downtown Atlanta. Georgia Tech is a program ripe with tradition, with their biggest rivalry against in-state program Georgia, dubbed "clean old fashioned hate."

2012 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Outlook

The Yellow Jackets will use their formula of that Paul Johnson's triple option offense once again this season. Georgia Tech racks up the rush yards, ranking No.2 in the country at over 315 yards per game. They will be tested right out of the gate against Coastal Division favorite Virginia Tech. The Yellow Jackets won eight games last season, and that is about what is expected out of this team once again in 2012.
