2012 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Football Preview

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are members of the Atlantic Division in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The school is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, right in the heart of ACC Country. The Demon Deacons play in BB&T Field at Groves Stadium, which can hold approximately 31,500 in the stands. Wake Forest has two conference titles, the last of which came in 2006. The Demon Deacons have been to 10 bowl games in their history, but have no national championships. And with several ACC schools in the state of North Carolina, you can bet there are some big rivalry games for these two, including North Carolina, N.C State, and Duke.

2012 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Outlook

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons had a rather successful 2011 season, going 5-3 in the ACC and reaching a bowl game. It's about what is expected from this program. And coming into this season, that feeling is no different. Wake Forest did have a big win over Florida State in 2011, and we will get a good sense of this Demon Deacon team again early in the season in the third game on the road against the Seminoles.
