2012 N.C. State Wolfpack Football Preview

The North Carolina State Wolfpack play in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast conference. The N.C. State football program has been around since 1892. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Wolfpack plays at Carter-Finley Stadium, which can hold 58,000 fans. N.C. State has won seven ACC titles, but have yet to win one since the conference split into two divisions. The program has no national championships, but has been to 26 bowl games in their history. N.C. State has several rivals within their conference and their state, highlighted by the in-state showdown with the North Carolina Tar Heels.

2012 North Carolina State Wolfpack Outlook

The North Carolina State Wolfpack don't exactly have high expectations this season, but that doesn't mean that they can't play a role in the outcome of the division. The Wolf Pack are well behind Florida State and Clemson on the betting odds to claim the division and the conference, but N.C. State has been known to beat both of these teams in recent years. Running the ball was an issue last season as N.C. State ranked 109th in the country. That will need to significantly improve to gain balance on offense.
